Shipping Policies: Ensuring Smooth Delivery
Shipping Destinations:
- Stone Products Unlimited, Inc. ships to all 50 states. For shipments to Hawaii or Alaska, please reach out to orderdesk@spui.net for a freight quote.
Lead Times and Delivery Estimates:
- All lead times, ship dates, and delivery dates provided are estimates only. Typically, we ship orders within 5 business days of approval.
- Transit times are also estimates, and we cannot guarantee delivery as we contract through outside carriers.
Factors Affecting Delays:
- Difficult-to-reach addresses such as narrow streets, slopes, low-hanging trees, or ferry crossings may cause delays in shipping.
- Communicate any potential challenges to our customer service team at orderdesk@spui.net. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the need to pick up the product from the carrier's terminal.
Holding Shipments:
- We do not accommodate holds for shipments for end-user clients.
- For B2B clients, we can hold shipments for up to 30 days from the PO date free of charge.
- For Pre-Pay customers, we will need payment immediately in order to allocate inventory. For customers on terms, we will need payment within two weeks otherwise we will need to deallocate inventory.
- Materials not picked up after 30 days are subject to a storage fee of $25 per pallet/crate per week.
- After a total of 90 days, if the materials are still not picked up, we will refund the material with a 25% restocking fee.
Will Call Orders:
- Will call orders are available for pickup from our Anaheim, CA facility within 5 business days of placing your order.
Third-Party Carriers:
- We use third-party carriers for all shipments, and we cannot change their policies or fees. Any changes to your order may result in additional charges.
Missed Delivery Appointments:
- If you miss a delivery appointment, the carrier may charge a storage fee. You will be responsible for these fees.
- Failure to accept delivery may result in the product being returned to us, and you will be charged the freight back plus a 25% restocking fee.
Residential Deliveries:
- All residential deliveries are curbside only and require a signature. It's your responsibility to bring the products into your project for proper storage.
Inspection Upon Arrival:
- Inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. Any damage must be noted on the bill of lading and reported to claims@spui.net within 72 hours with accompanying photographs.
- Claims reported beyond this window will not be approved.
Damage and Imperfections:
- A small percentage of your tile may arrive damaged, which is why we recommend purchasing overage.
- Understand the difference between actual damage and tile imperfections using our variations guide, samples, and product imagery.
- Variation Disclaimer: Variations are inherent in clay and natural stone products. We assume no responsibility for labor or material claims due to shade variations.
